This book begins with TALES - four short fiction stories, followed by REFLECTIONS.Reflections begins in New Mexico during the Great Depression and the experiences of a boy coming of age in the Boyle Heights area of East Los Angeles at the end of World War II.It follows his life experiences from childhood through high school, college, the military, his career as an educator, and living to see the 21st century.There are friendships that have endured for a lifetime, adventures and the reality of racial intolerance.His life experiences are not unlike many others who experienced those times and places.
